Home-made Art Prints
A Collection of my Pen and Ink Works and Portraits printed on paper!
Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, during the nationwide (and then worldwide) lockdown, I intentionally created more, sketching and drawing with ink on paper, and making digital portraits.

And just recently, during the last week of March 2021, I decided to print some of them as a postcard, to give as a gift for a friend who had to fly back to her country after being stuck abroad during the pandemic, now that I have easy access to a printer at home that has black ink left!

Then I discovered how fulfilling it is to have ones work printed on a paper. It felt so much more special, as it's now tactile... and can be given as a gift for someone to bring along with. Needless to say, I got inspired.
Portrait of Racheli. (From left) "Racheli the Beautiful", and "Where is my Sunshine?". Both printed on 6" x 4" (postcard size) 200GSM linen paper.
Portraits
The portraits above are digital portraits of the same person. I enjoyed the process of painting them and it helped me calm down during those crazy times! Hence...

Painting is better than worrying.

Places, Landscapes and Architecture
Towards the last quarter of 2020, I got an opportunity to travel and work as a volunteer, so  I sketched one of the places where I stayed at in Liw-liwa, Zambales, in a resort called "Sunny Side Up" (featured above). It's a nice, cozy place, owned and run by a family. :)

Other places I drew were from my travels in the previous years, and drawings before the lockdown which I included in this set of first edition prints, which I call "Artist's Prints". :)

Vehicle Drawings: "Tricycles in Bohol", A Collection
Come year 2021, I started drawing the tricycles from my trip in Bohol. I find them fascinating as they're unique— not one is alike! And each has its own personality! I learned from someone who lives there that they're called "Rela" instead of tricycle.
All drawings are posted on my Instagram account @charitycalderon :)
