The Design Process
Typically, I employ a 4-Part Design Process for any Art + Design Project I work on. Namely,

R&D  >  Pre-Production  >  Production  >  Post-Production

and I  Iterate  as much as needed or required.
Step 1. Information Architecture
I mapped out the old website to understand the contents of the existing website. I use and analyse the existing data, along with the information from the interviews with the client about their goals and the brainstormed idea to be incorporated in the new Information Architecture that will be built.
(Above) Here, I can see there are redundancies in the links and pages. Therefore, the goal in building the new hierarchy of information is to eliminate any redundancies. This Current/ Old Site Map, or rather, the Information Architecture will also be helpful in designing the Menu or Navigation design of the website.

Step 2. Prototype
I built a prototype on Adobe XD (which was fairly new that time) --it was such a breeze to use! I designed on Photoshop while testing XD, but Photoshop got too heavy and created very large files so it wasn't efficient to use, so clearly, XD is the more practical tool to use.

My role in the project was only the web design part as the client decided to use their existing Web Developers. I also did a test drive with Adobe Muse. However, I focused on the design aspect and had a blast with Adobe XD.
The Prototype

Experience the Design. I presented these prototypes to the client and also shared "For Development" to the developers. I created an "Intro" for the Prototype so you can access Desktop / Mobile versions and check out Navigation or Menu design studies.
If you encounter any issues, feel free to comment so I can address it! :)
