IoC: The Leader's Mindset (Course) Page
The Leader's Mindset (TLM) is a Course by Institute of Change (IoC), an institution by Step Change. It's a masterclass in leadership where individuals and big and known organisations across Australia and the world over have enrolled in.
Project Scope
The Brief
:: Create a landing page for TLM.
:: Given the option to handle the development myself or someone else will develop it in the learning platform where the existing "landing page" was built.
:: Final landing page should have the Preferred URL.
:: Conducted a UX Study for a more appropriate Site Map, dealing with the website structure and the learning platform, which at that time handled everything: website & course materials.
:: Proposed a more appropriate term for the page: An About the Course Page or "Course Page" in short, as opposed to a landing page.
User Interface Design (UI)
:: Designed and improved the layout of the page
:: Designed a video player and a more aesthetic course curriculum
Other Roles
:: Conducted several iterations, created few builds, testing different pipelines.
:: Proposed solutions to the team from the challenges faced, such as "out-of-the-box" solutions, ie. building the page outside the learning platform using a more modern and robust and more capable website builder or platform, and hiring a developer for a more efficient team dynamic.
:: Was asked to participate in the hiring of the developer. Worked on the Developer Exam.
Before & After
Prototype
Prototype Features: Version 2.1 / 2.2 minor updates
Version 2.1 - Published on October 2021
Version 2.2 - CTA Button hover effect (1 button)
Disclaimer: Prototype may hang and is buggy due to an incident when I was working on it; suddenly, without warning, I got logged out of Adobe (by someone at work by mistake) when I was working on it. It wasn't able to save the last changes I made even though I worked on the cloud. :/
Under the Hood (Bonus Content) :D
To create an accordion type for 2 sections in the Course Curriculum and FAQ, I had to duplicate the whole page several times with expanded version for each item in the accordion. This resulted in a complex-looking XD file as you can see below!
